I see your back

Seeing your receding back
Longing to lean on it
As I stay on my feet.

Staring aimlessly at your angry back
As you turn away
Refusing to acknowledge my being.

Hoping you would turn back
As you leave for another
As much as I wanted you to stay

Looking on at your hunching back
Regretting the harsh words
I cant take back.

I see your back, lovingly
As I remember the warmth
Just moments ago.

Watching life turn its back
Letting out a Heavy Sigh
Knowing you’ll never be back.

I feel your back
As I lean against it
And let my tears flow.
Were you holding me?
Or was I, you?

    Were you holding me? Or was I, you? Doesn’t relationship meant to be mutual? But you know, somewhere deep inside it feels to keep on holding somewhere….whatever it takes!
    Nice Write…..I really enjoyed it from heart.

    Mysoul says – Depends on the relationship.. Sometimes its one-sided or the ones involved are completely unaware of each others feelings…theres all kinds of relationships.
