Rejection
An unspoken sneer
In his eyes appear
A smile curves my lip
As love gives a slip.
Dejection
Withdrawn into a cave forlorn
Timidly holding on to fate unborn
Amidst open spaces and silence
Leaning on unknown resilience.
Projection
I see what is not there
The whispers and words unfair
Scarred with unseen scar
Every sight, a mirage afar.

This is the pathway of love… I have walked it many a time. I often wonder if there is a simpler path… one with signs and markers… one with a “do not enter” sign.
This poem is beautiful. As always you are a master word weaver. Just trying to make a dark situation seem lighter. I have been in darkness before

Mysoul says – Thank you. Enreal. There is a simpler Path(I heard someone talk of it) but I havent found it yet. I am glad for Darkness, cause I have learned to cherish the Light whenever I see it, because of it.
wow! that was so lovely! shall come back for more…
Mysoul says – Welcome Ramblings
.. Glad you enjoyed the read
This is now what love is. This is a negative way to perceive love. Love is acceptance, not rejection. It is going deeper and not projection.
Mysoul says – I agree, Love is about acceptance. Thats the Ideal. I look at how it manifests in the living reality. Not many people get it right, if they did, we wouldnt have so many heartaches.
I love how you concretize emotions…it’s assuring to the mind.
Mysoul says – Thank you Tom. I like keeping my feet on the ground, cant say much about my head in the clouds though
.
Oh, going minimalist, mysoul! You’ve woven great lines here.
I think we all go through the emotions you described here so beautifully.
Keep holding (or leaning) on that unknown resilience. It’s always gonna be there to hold you up.
GBU!
‘Rejection’ is my favorite. I think that is one we all experience quite often, not just in love either. ‘Projection’ brought a rueful smile to my eye, so many times wishing for what is not there. very… true, I like it.
Thank you.
I just loved what you wrote about Projection!
